I got one from Advanced Auto. It is a glass housing with a changeable filter inside. The initial cost was 12 bucks, but a pkg of 3 filters is like 3.50. I'll get the make and part number and post it later, its out in the shop. The diameter is not as big as the one I took off, but so far it is working well.

HERE is the link to it.

I bought very nice $2 small clear fuel filter made in Germany from NAPA. It was for general use. Just ask them.

ANY fuel filter with that size fitting will work, long as it physically fits. I use the Spectre brand glass fuel filters on all my toys (boats, bikes, etc). Ten bucks, comes with the correct size fitting. It can be easily taken apart and cleaned, and it's like 4 bucks for a package of 3 extra filter elements and gasketsfor it.

This is the way to go.......you can easily check at a glance if fuel is flowing, and if the filter is getting dirty.

I get them at Autozone.

I just got a Napa gold 3003. It works but is larger than the original.
Wont fit inside the rubber retainer. Will do for temporary use but will go back to stock next time.
