found this while cruising around, interesting to see the results.

As most of us have said all along, that damn K&N came in last again, for filtering out the debris.

Purolator topped the list for "clean air" in your vehicle, but the WIX was so close, it was a tie IMO

I have seen other tests too and the K&N always comes in last.

K&Ns were never designed to be all that good a filter, but to make the most power. They do that well and still keep large boulders out of your engine. I've had them on a flowbench and a dyno, and they actually do better than an open carb, as they smooth out the airflow. For racing they are great, for anything else they suck.
