Air Shocks 1987 Aspencade

Most just use Progressive shocks or rebuild the OEMs.
What kind of problems are you having?

Thank you ! and the shocks are shot , the boots are gone oil is leaking out, and thay will not hold air!! i'm going to try some Monroe MA812 we will see !

Make sure you keep us updated on those Monroes. Many of us 12 riders would like to have more options.
The boots are expensive but the OEM seal kits are pretty cheap. There's a chance the lines or even the compressor could be the air leak.

Just replaced the shocks on my1985 i the $300.00 progressive are money well spent. It rides like a new bike !:claps:

hopefully those monroe shocks are returnable since after looking at the specs they pretty much would have to be run at pretty much their minimum air setting in order to work,the shocks on a goldwing are pretty much max extended at approx 13.75 and travel is about 3" ,the monroe are minimum 12.50" with no air and max at about 20",i could see where if maybe bike is extremely loaded that these might be usable somewhat
since seal and fluid replacement is a simple process and about $25 i would attempt that first and using monroe shock boots ($10),at least that method would not make the mc possibly ill handling......but that's imho
