I HAVE A 81 GOLDWING INTERSTATE WHEN I FIRST TURN KEY ON AFTER A COUPLE SECONDS THE LIGHTIN TACH GOES OUT AS IT SHOULD IT WILL STAY OFF UNTIL YOU START SHIFTING UP THROUGH GEARS AT HIGHER RPMS IT WILL COME ON AND STAY ON UNTIL YOU COME TO A STOP AND IDLE.WHEN YOU TAKE OFF AGAIN IT WILL STAY OFF UNTIL YOU REACH HIGHER RPMS AROUND 3000 RPMS AND THEN WILL COME BACK ON AND STAY ON AGAIN UNTIL IDLE.IT HAS BEEN WORKING FINE UP UNTIL JUST A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO.

Check the connections at the air valve for the rear shocks. My had rotted off. Also check the air pressure to be sure you don't actually have a leak. Good luck.
