Anyone have any experience with these pads. I am thinking of getting one as my posterior was a little sore after this weekends adventure to diggerfest. I say on one at diggerfest on a park bench to try it out but wanted to see what the reviews of them are.

had one on my Shadow that should go on the Wing- even with its Russell Day Long seat! need a softer top

Air is an excellent way to give pillow soft comfort, with a small amount of motion when you move- each cell is inter-connected with an air line so the bladder moves with you,,Good for normal people, not so good for certain hip or back problems

Set its fill of air so its depress 1/2 inch when you sit on it. don't want if full- the give is what makes it comfortable!
its molds to you constantly

High retail price but totally worth it for the years of happiness it will give you and your passenger :) :)
My dad put a full set = seats and backrest on a H-D trike, it took the shakes out of the seat! and that bike shakes its rubber mounted horn!
funny how he gave me a bad time about being an Old Man with the that thing on my Shadow seat...now he's a convert!
We just rode back from Reno Street Vibes, he was good to go non stop 3 hours thru the mountains = seating/comfort wise,
if it weren't for the limited range of the HD fuel tank
I needed to get off and stretch but had no such fuel issues~ That Russell day-long seat works! I'm ready to go riding again tomorrow~
Wings Rule~
Ck craigslist or other online site for used ones, they go fast at 50-100 bucks

Have you considered a sheepskin? I've heard people really like those too. Would like to try one but I wouldn't be able to get my feet on the ground I dont think.

sheepskin is nice but not the same idea or function as an airhawk
Once you sit on one you know why!

Seat foam can be modified to make it easier to reach the ground, or any other comfort mods you may want- gel pads etc
Ck CL for upholstery in motorcycle for sale- boats for sale or general services listings
There are many people who worked for big companies that now work from home.... for half the price!!
Amazing how a little mod to the foam can add hours a day to your comfort

I am 6'1". I have both a gel pad and a sheepskin. When I have both on its me on my tip toes when stopped. Sheepskin gets matted down.

Airhawk will hook you up in comfort

Others- get your seat foam cut or shaped so you can add other things like gel pads, and maintain good ground contact when desired.
See my post above re CL postings for upholstery, done by professional industry people now working from home

I picked up the Airhawk R used at a great price. I have put a few miles on it and so far so good. I am still trying to find the sweet spot in pressure but when I do I know it will be that much more amazing. So far 2 thumbs up.
