Yep, most of us can do the PDF thing.

If you get the campground space reserved, I'll look into local rides, hotels for those who don't want to camp, and things like waterfall hikes and hot springs. I'll produce a flyer with a map, directions, and other info.

Ok, so here's the first bit of information regarding the (my wife says the following phrase is grammatically incorrect)"1st Annual West Coast WingNuts Jamboree and Mosquito Roundup".

Diamond Lake has several campgrounds, and every time I have been there, space isnt a problem. Here is some text regarding the two bigger campgrounds.:goofygrin:

Diamond Lake Campground: Located on Forest road 4795, on east shore of Diamond Lake. 240 campsites (trailer & tent units), tables, fireplaces, running water, flush toilets, showers, garbage bins, grey water sumps, RV dump station, boat ramps, & fish cleaning station. Accommodates trailers to 35'. Some sites designed for persons with disabilities. Reservations available for sites in loops A-F. Daily fees.

Broken Arrow Campground: Located on Forest Road 4795, at south end of Diamond Lake. A combination of 148 trailer and tent units, with tables, fireplaces, running water, flush toilets, showers, garbage bins, grey water sumps, & trailer dump station. Accommodates trailers to 35'. Loops F & G are designed for persons with disabilities us. Group reservations available for loops J, K, M, & N. Daily fees. :coollep:

I am going to start a thread with a poll. The choices will be attend or not attend. Open door policy, if you can make it, great. We just need to know far enough in advance to reserve a proper number of spaces. Please register your intentions soon!!:clapper:

It sure would be nice to see a bunch of people there... at the 1st Annual West Coast WingNuts Jamboree and Mosquito Roast. How long should I wait, to see how many are coming, before I make the reservations...

If we wait too long, there might not be any openings...

I just found the board a couple of days ago. I live in Weiser ID, which is just across the snake river from Oregon. I ride my 78 wing to work in Ontario OR every day. I love the diamond lake area and would love to participate in the mosquito roundup, but I won't be able to this year. I'll look forward to more pacificnorthwest events.

I just purchased a 1990 GL1500SE a couple weeks ago and love it! Haven't been on a bike in 18 years and I'm excited to get back to it. Just found this forum site a couple days ago and it looks like a great resource. I'll probably have lots of questions as I am new to Goldwings. I need to get accustomed to riding again and getting more comfortable with my new bike before venturing out on any long trips but look forward to meeting other riders from the Pacific Northwest and participating in activities and events. Can't attend the Diamond Lake run but look forward to it next year.

Well, there is one silly question. Something about synthetic vs mineral... But we wont go there... I made that mistake once. JUST Once...
