Was raining this morning so I thought I'll polish my wing.Spent 2 hours cleaning and polishing, then the rain stopped and the roads were starting to dry.Needed to go for a pack of ciggys and I took the wing the 3 miles to the store. As I was returning to my Wing a lady was looking at it a said looks like you just polished it..I said "yes I did"

On my way home it rained...:DBut I love to ride and this has happened to me many times...Rather ride a dirty bike than sit in the garage looking a a clean one....

HAHA, I do the same thing while it's raining. polish the ole gal up and then ride her in the rain because I can't just look at her I have to get on and ride somewhere, and than get her all dirty and do it all over again.

It's not a garage queen.....

Works that way with women, too...:D.

Every flippin' time I detail a bike, I hit a 2 minute rain burst that is just enough to destroy it within 24 hours.

Where I live, it's not so much the rain that'll mess up all the detailing efforts...it's the #$%^& automated sprinkler systems that no one seems to maintain properly. The roads will have water running over them for blocks at a time and it's just a little irritating. But that's motorcycling...:smiler:
