I have installed a mini denso alt on my bike, does any body know which plug pin is for the exciter? also what gauge for the charging wire? thanks.

1984alt wiring

First I want to thank you guys for putting me on the right track. I looked at a 10 gauge and thought it was too big. the parts store has red 10 gauge with hook ups on both ends, six dollars. you cant beat that with a switch.

Does the charging wire go straight to the battery post? I have read some post about putting a fuse in line for that. cars are straight to batt and no fuse.
