Hello, On my 82 Aspencade I have the AM/FM radio option. Can I add the intercom system to the existing radio? with parts needed?

Type 1 or Type 2 radio? I found it easier to use one of these. It enabled me to get a Cb and an easy way to use my GPS. Plus I didn't have to sort through a pile of thirty year old electronics.
