I am having a problem with an rather annoying wobble when turning at slow speed. It doesn't seem to be present at regular speed. I do get a very harsh wobble if I don't hold tight to the handlebars also at slow speed.

I know my tires are worn and planned to replace them after the season. The raer is fairly low on thread but I cannot detect any cupping or uneven wear and the front tire still has good tread left.

is it possible this is the steering bearings or the wheel bearings?

:waving:It's probably a tire problem. I had the same problem on my '83 Interstate with the original fronttire the bike came with which was a Dunlop that had over 20,000 miles on it. AfterhavingAvon Venom X tiresinstalled front & rearearly 2008the wobble problem disappeared. Yes I still had the original front tire on the bikeup to this time!
