Hello all,



I'm another new member...I found this forum looking for info on my '82 GL1100 Interstate.



I picked it up from a friend about a year ago, and I've been doing all of those little things that seem to go wrong with old bikes.



Current project is the right side head gasket. Its allowing coolant to leak out, and I've got to change it. From these forums, I see its a common problem. I have a new honda head gasket, but what else amI going to need? Any suggestions?

Also, you'll need orings for the carb elbowsto head (4 for both sides), coolant tube orings (2), oil orifice orings (2, but 2 different sizes), coolantfitting to headpaper gasket (can make it). You will probably want to change out the rad hoses (can buy a NAPA 7733 and cut into two pieces) and now would be a good time to change timing belts (gates T274)if you haven't already done that...
