I came across this forum last week while researching the new 2006 Goldwing. This is a great site and will be very helpful to a lot of riders.

After looking to upgrade my 1989 wing and looking at the spec's on the 2006, I had a dealer offer me a good deal on a new 2005 Black Cherry unit. The spec. differance between the 05 and the 06 was not much and with the savings, I have the best bike I have ridden in years. The handling is so much smoother and power like you won't believe. Of course this is nothing new to GL1800 riders. I'm cleaning up the 89 and will be posting it later on. Thanks for the chat.
