Hello All,



I'm John, from Portland Maine. Like rfp60, I too am single, was married 27 years, and lost my wife 2 years ago.



I'm 6'10" 260 lbs, so finding a bike (or a car) that fits me isn't easy



Just getting back into riding after a 30 year hiatus. Bought a 1981 Goldwing GL 1100. The bike appears to be in good shape overall. It was running when parked, and sat for about 3 years.



I have a couple of months before riding season starts up here, and want to spend it getting the bike going, doing what I can myself. So I guess I'll be hitting the technical forum next.

Yes, snowing pretty hard right now. They've scaled the forcast back though, down to 3 to 5 inches. It was 6 to 10 yesterday.

Hi Doug,

I was actually in Fort Wayne for a night last month. had dinner at The Cleaver, I think. Their menu was on meat cleavers. Looked like a nice town.
