This last Sunday I helped a friend's wife move 30 Hondas down a very long driveway to a tractor trailer truck.

After a difficult 9 months he died on 4 September 2012.

His bikes sat 4 months. The wife had pulled all the battery tenders so the other batteries went dead. Amazingly the 2002 Wing fired up. The only bike that started and I rode that Goldwing a 1/4 mile down the drive to the trailer.

Well that's that. He was a good friend. Will miss riding with him.

That is sad, but sounds like you mad a difficult task easier for his wife.

Must have been a life long hobby and collection.

Death is sorrowful, but not a tragedy as long as the departee lived a full and authentic life... As Ian Fleming once said, the man who wastes his life seeking to prolong it is a tragic figure. If the man was a rider, and if he rode, then his life had joy. Never delay joy, my friends, because someday the bell will toll for thee.....and me.
