I am trying to hook up a wired FM modulator so I can plug my new GPS with an MP3 player so I can play both the directions and the music over my radio while on the road.

My question is, is there an antenna connection under the seat like on the 1500 for the GL1200 or where can I find it? I have looked under the left fairing pocket like it shows in the manual, but cannot find it there. Just trying to save myself 30 minutes in the carport for no reason.

Yes there is a connection on the left side under the false tank near the front. At least there is on my LTD.

Do you have to remove the false tank to find it? I pulled the seat off and that was as far as the wire went as I could see so far. I will wait to hear from you before I do any more. According to the radio manual, it was supposed to be under the left pocket but it wasn't.

Took the false tank off and there it was, right below the fairing pocket out of sight. Thanks a lot for the info!!
