So, I loved my 20[suP]th[/suP] anniversary candy red wing but can find any that are close to my budget. I did find a 94 with 101k miles. The pick look great, I saw the video and every thing works great. I spoke with the seller and he told me hat he has every piece of paperwork for everything ever done. I am not afraid of the mileage, but it is black and I am not sure. Anybody have anything to say in the ay of major changes 94-95. I have read the history but that doesn’t say it all.

My business really needs a dual headlight bike but I also will be the major rider. What does one do?

If my memory serves me correctly, I think that '95 was the year that the seat was reshaped to lower the seat height about an inch. So, if you are short in the leg like me, that may matter to you.

Others please correct me if I am wrong about the year of the GL1500 seat change.

Thanks wingman. I have found 25 possible bikes, not one is exaclty what i want. but i will find out wha they will pay me today then i will be better able to buy with confidence. If they offer me anything near the 11900 for this one, i would stretch to get it.

Cheers

Just my thinking, but I'd rather INVEST in a newer Goldwing than stocks, real estate,or anything else out there.

I got my last97 SElast winter & it has gone WAY up in value since then. I'd bet I could put 50k more miles on it & still make a good profit.

:cool::cool::cool:
I agree to a particular degree. My wife is the treasurer at a biotech company thus she does our investing. However, when I told her if I ever had to sell the Valk, I would make money on the deal. She told me matter of factly that that just wasn’t so. I got my payout for my Valk and she was truly stunned. Therefore, once she sees the payout for my wing she will certainly be convinced that I do my research and that I can make money at this. I flipped cars for years and made money. We will see for sure……

Right now, I hold all the paper on my two motorcycle companies and we are just beginning to ramp to profitability at which point, the companies will pay me back and I will be able to buy the Valk I want and a new wing…weehoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!:jumper:

From Chicago Craigslist...

black 94, 23k miles $7,000: http://tinyurl.com/5udyqc

red 98, 22k miles $8,900: http://tinyurl.com/66hl23

black 94, 6k miles, $7,900: http://tinyurl.com/6464dm

All in the Chicago area, I can check out for you if needed and can even store for a few weeks until you get a shipper hammered out.

If I were you, I'd be looking at the black 94 with the 6kmiles, if that's actual and no monkey business then that would bebasically a new bike.

I recall a red 2 tone in the Chicago CL recently but it didn't come up in my search.:baffled:

Wow, thanks.I would love the second one being that it both my color, and an se. I am amzed at the offer to check them out and i may have you look at just that one. I have had such a strong support feeling since i joined. This forum and those who operate it and the members who make ofers like this one truly creat the spirit of that which a forum is meant to be. folks, always remeber the things that some might take for granted, a NEVER DO. IraqRam made me an offer that would help me out hugely, but he doesnt even know me.
