I am trying to add a mp3 to my clarion 1. I have a cable that hooks the mp3 player to the intercom cable on the radio. The line out put on the player is too low to drive the amp. It plays but is not loud enough to hear while riding. It seems that an Amplirider would boost the signal to the amp and let me add GPS to the mix. I eventually plan to add a full intercom set up with headsets, but that will be further in the future. Jay

You can get a mini amp and hook it all together.
Its about 2x2x3 or something like that
My son has one on his 4wheeler boom box.
I dont think it puts out a lot of amps and it dont take a lot to power it.
Good Luck.

I bought the Amplirider last year so I could take the output of my Sirius radio and connect to head phones. Works great. It is mounted inside of my fairing with only the knob showing.
