Anyone ever add "Seafoam" to thier engine oil?

Back of the bottle says you can.

Just wondering, my wing is running great but I've always been one to add detergents to my cars oils at every change up and was wondering if doing the same for the wing benefits or not.

its 100% safe, actually makes clutch smoother and engine quieter. you can use seafoam right before oil change (run it through 100 miles before oil change) and you can add it after, seafoam recommends to keep an eye on the oil because it will get dirty faster because will be working

Do it all the time! Add about half a can about 250 miles before I plan to change the oil. Drive... change oil! Good stuff!

its good fix if you have starter clutch slipping , at least in the 4 cylinder family .

You will be amazed at how dirty the oil will be when you drain it! Almost makes ya want to do it twice!! Good product all the way around. I put it in my gas cans for the chainsaw, mower. jimsjinx

I'm running 1/2 can in my 83 Aspencade right now. I like about 25mmore miles, then do the oil change. Keep your speed around 45 MPH though. Advance has it on sale for $7.99 per can right now. I stocked up on some.

When you add Sea foam 2 things happen:
1. Oil viscosity drops. so you can change 10W40 to 5W20
2. It dissolves dirt and then you keep running your engine on "dirt". If you just changed oil adding Seas foam will make it old, it is time to change it.
What I do:
Add half bottle of ATF to oil when ready to change oil (whole bottle to car engine), then run engine for 5 Min around 2000-3000 RPM, don't ride! Change oil.
ATF is cheaper than Sea foam. Diesel fuel probably works as well dissolving dirt.

cemtool b12 works well also. like jinx, I also put it in my lawnmower and weedeater, especially if they have sat for a while. I add about 3 or 4 cap fulls to the tank on the mower and 1 for the weedeater. as for my bike, I ran half a can through when I first got it (used older wing)and put about half a cup in every 4 or 5th tank. seems to run smoother than when I got it. I havent ever used it in the oil, best leave well enough alone, dont want to start any leaks.
