I've spun the wing around on the center stand before, but not so sure about the side stand.

I'm pretty sure I could do that, with four other guys helping me.

Back when I was young, I might have tried it.......not saying I could have done it with the wing, but like I said, young and dumb.

Yesterday, I did have to pull it way over on the side stand to get it off the centerstand though. I had changed the oil and gotten some on the bottom of the feet of the stand and it slid all over my carport. I was so worn out and hot and mad that I couldn't get it to roll off and had to go somewhere. Only thing I figure to do was to lean it over.

It worked but I didn't like having to hold the bike up and then stand her back up for sure. I had it on my bent legs which kept me from hurting myself, but an old man with bad knees, back and neck ain't got any business having to do what I did.

Very interesting,

Wonder what the side stand rating is.

I like this one better. And she's a lot better looking.

Hey that is pretty slick.

I've done it a few times with my 1100. The stand isn't the problem. It's having enough arse to pull if off. I'm 6 foot tall 250 pounds most of it muscle and it was no easy task.

I'm gonna try it. I'll give you a report.

Which brings me to my next question, how much weight will the side stand support before damage occurs.
I have a bad back and I tend to be short legged so I step up on my left floorboard on the 1500 when mounting.
As anyone can see by my picture's, I am good, real good at cleaning my plate.
So how much is too much on the side stand???

:coollep:This was my concern also, plus how many of us have that much room in or garages :?If I had that much room I would have another toy or mower in that space.

Tried it but could not make it work. does not mean it can't be done. Just means I couldn't do it and I don't have the patience to practice.
