hello all,

I can get a real good job deal on a set of '83 1100 carbs that i would like to rebuild and put on my '84 1200. are they interchangeable if i change the jets?

I don't know but I doubt it.
Even if they physically fit I wouldn't change jets as the ones they come with are designed for the flow characteristics of the carburetors not the size of the engine.

No, they are absolutely not the same and will not fit at all. Completely different beasts.

no, the 1200 carbs are different and work better than 1100 carbs. they are not that hard to rebuild if you get a kit from www.randakks.com
