Something has got to give with this "insane South Arkansas weather." Spring break started this past Saturday and I've only had the opportunity to ride once. Every time I go near the bike, "a wildcat growled; two Harley riders were approaching and the wind began to howl." Rain, thunder and cold wind. Man! I need a break. Does anyone have any inside connections with who ever is in charge of this situation? ;)

If it makes you feel any better it's the same here. More snow this morning and temp down to 28f. Same time last year it was fine with the temperature around 62f.
Got to be one of the longest winters I can recall!

It sure is nasty here, worked my tail off 3 days this week on my dad's barn and now I am cooped up in the house while the cold rain falls. :sadguy:

Norm,
Matter of fact, I do know the one who is in charge of all this "insane" weather we've been having, and when I say my prayers tonight, I'll be sure to mention it.
Hope you know him too!

It hasn't been bad here in north east Texas until today, and even now not that bad. Saturday before last I rode to Coppell (north part of Dallas) to watch the motorcycle cop rodeo, and the weather was great.

No. It's not!!

Nice warm dry day like that should have been riding!

I guess I draw the line at around 19F, about the coldest I have rode so far myself.
And Thunder storms at night I like since the lighting helps light up the road to see further and better to the sides to watch for deer.
Course the deer have more sense than me and they are hiding out of the rain somewhere nice and dry while I ride in it LOL

We still have snow on the ground, the snowmobile trails are open and at 8 this morning the thermometer said 8 degrees. There is so much salt or whatever it is they are puting on the roads to melt snow that I won't be riding for a while yet, even if it does warm up.

Last year it was in the 80's in mid March. Weather sure is a wired thing.
