i readjusted the oil level in the forks using a straight coat hanger as a dipstick with the forks mounted on the bike with progressive springs, tight side down.
got 14" on the coat hanger dipstick (310cc)
brought it up to 17" with 10wt fork oil....was thinking about using 17" of ATF in the forks.
it rides much better with the 17" of 10wt oil
whats the advantages to using ATF and what kind of ATF (dexron, etc) in the forks?
also whats the difference between 88-94 and 95-00 forks?
