Hey gang,
I have an Audiovox FMM100 FM wired transmitter installed to run my iPod, I hear some popping and engine whine through the headsets. The whine goes up and down with the engine RPM's.
Now, I have removed all other electrical stuff so I know it's coming from this device. If I turn off or remove this device and listen directly to FM radio, no issue. I am using the supplied noise suppressor as well asadded a second noise suppressor in-line of the audio. It doesn't matter which suppressor I use or if I use both, the popping and whineare the same, much worse if I don't use any noise suppressors.
The best way to hear this is to turn down the iPod volume and turn up the bike volume.
Are these devices known to cause this type of issue?
Can I add a filter to the power line to the acc terminal?
What suggestions do you have?
Thanks in advance
