Mr Vern
I don't know that but the Napa cross # is 250275

From the GW Tips post

GL1500 Timing Belts. Goodyear 40275 timing belts are available for the GL1500. Gates have been supplying the T275 timing belt for the GL1500. Also available is the Napa 250275. Note that the same timing belts fit all GL1500 models from 1988-2000.

Ken Knopp, from Gres "HAM", Oregan has given me two US contact numbers for Gates;
For product help; 1-800-677-3478. This gets you to somebody in Utah, and can probably steer you to a dealer for their products. For Tech help; 1-303-744-5651.

Sometimes you have to wonder about them guys.... I tried to get a case quantity price on the Wix 51358 filter, and they said they couldn't look up the price since they didn't have it in stock at that store. And he asked what the automotive application was, and I said it didn't matter, it's a Wix 51358 right here. Not too bright these guys....

I paid $12.95 with tax for the filter, I can get a case of 12 off ebay for $100 delivered.

Anyways, just ask them to look up their Gates belt for the following crossover part numbers:

Gates - T275
NAPA - 250275
Goodyear - 40275

If they can't help with that information, I'd go somewhere else. After all, they do sell Gates belts...

Amazing the ignorance of parts store employees. There are very few parts people any more, just computer operators, if you can't tell them what it fits they can't look it up.
The # is T275, that is all they have to know.

Amazon is where I got my timing belts for the 1500 also. They are the Gates belts so no problem with the quality.

I haven't been able to find an automotive application for the T275. It appears to be unique to the GL1500 (probably a reason for the higher price than the T070 for the GL1200)

they wanted 13.00 in shipping costs and they were shipping from 2 different warehouses, would have taken 7-10 business days:sadguy:

Those might become hard to find in the future if that is the case. I wonder if they are still being made or are they all old stock.

On the Gates website, if you check the T275 timing belts, they list the application as only forGL1500 Goldwings 88-00 and nothing else. So there might not be an automotive application for them....

Don't that burn your tail feathers. Rock Auto is in the suburbs of Rockford, IL which is in your back yard between you and the Chicagoland Regional Airport at Rockford.
