I have a 93 Aspencade, On the right side of the fairing, just below the right speaker is a spot that looks like it is intended for a cig lighter or aux power plug. Does anyone know is the bike pre-wired for something like that or will I have to run power from the battery. Thanks for your help.

Nothing pre wired there, on the later SE models believe that was for the foot warmer control knob.

If running just a GPS, a quick wire up from aux. fuse location in fuse box to the left inside pocket where many of us have a cig or power receptacle kept out of the elements.
