I have a 93 Aspencade, On the right side of the fairing, just below the right speaker is a spot that looks like it is intended for a cig lighter or aux power plug. Does anyone know is the bike pre-wired for something like that or will I have to run power from the battery. Thanks for your help.

Okay... so I am being overtly glib...

IF... this bike is new to you... and you foresee adding various electrical components. Then you need one of these:

It allows you to wire in all sorts of things without disturbing the OEM electrical harness...

Thanks for your help, I do intend to install one of these connection plates but for now, I have a trip to MO coming up in a few days, and I just want to hook up a temporary power source for a GPS. Then later I plan to trace out all the goodies PO installed, and do things right. Just don't have the time right now. Would rather wait until after the riding season is done. Thanks again.
