I am picking up a new 2012 GL1800 next week. I have moved over from the Bavarian rides.

Has anybody added Skene lights to a Wing? http://www.lights.skenedesign.com/

They are a great safety add on, but I have only worked on my Beemers before and I'm not sure about taking this new Wing apart.

Those are kool, I have not seen them before but I do see they appearantly don't make brackets for goldwings. Shouldn't be too tough to make something that would work.

They do make a bracket that attaches to the fender screw, it's listed on the site.

I'm just wondering where to pick up switched power easily.

The best place (as far as we know on 2012 models) is the accessory terminal in the fuse box.

ACC terminal would be the popular place to connect. If you are fitting more lights, one of those accessory switch boxes that fit over the brake and clutch reservoirs would be another popular option.
