They will have to take my bike from my cold, dead fingers.

This bike protected by S&W.

I can see all the bumper stickers already!

Volvo's experimental bikes in the 80s were discontinued because they couldn't figure out how to keep the airbags from blowing the riders off the bike.

Volvo make a good looking "Semi-Tractor"(Truck)!:clapper:
I really liked the looks of their early imports into the US, the models that looked like 1947 Fords. But since then they just say yuppie-mobiles to me. Their tractors are good looking.

Are you talking about the Volvo P1800S?A sleek looking 2 door coupe with very slight tail fins. That's also the same car used on the old TV show called The Saint. Nice looking car even by today's standards and especially for Volvo's standards.

Still see one or two of those over here and it always reminds me of "The Saint"

Nope earlier than that, like the 1960 PV544.

I think that's it, it had fins on a 45 degree angle, very sleek roof and hood! Pretty cool car especially way back then, when gas was 25 cents a gallon !:baffled:
Interestingly the ratio of the cost of a car vs the cost of a gallon of gas hasn't changed much:

1955 Dodge Kingsway $2600 gallon of gasoline $0.25 ratio aprox. 10000:1

2006 Dodge Magnum$30,000 gallon of gasoline $3.00 ratio aprox. 10000:1
