Just read on "Delphi Forums" at "The motorcycle tourers forum" an article about wanting to ban all motorcycles in "Sweden" I think it was and that Europe was looking at the "vision"?

first I've heard of it ?

check it out and let us know what you think and what you may know of this proposal?:baffled:

I think that's it, it had fins on a 45 degree angle, very sleek roof and hood! Pretty cool car especially way back then, when gas was 25 cents a gallon !:baffled:
Interestingly the ratio of the cost of a car vs the cost of a gallon of gas hasn't changed much:

1955 Dodge Kingsway $2600 gallon of gasoline $0.25 ratio aprox. 10000:1

2006 Dodge Magnum$30,000 gallon of gasoline $3.00 ratio aprox. 10000:1

Silver fox,

Re johnmac's reference to right turns; I think that in the UK the appropriate comparison would be a left turn because across the pond they drive on the wrong side of the road.

In the UK you are only allowed to ignore all road traffic laws and signals if you are riding a pedal-cycle!!!

I live in the southermost part of Sweden and know abouth that ban. It was amember of the parliamentthat wanted to ban motorcyckles because ther was too many collisions with the icebears at the streets in Stockholm! Now we are talking abouth to ban politicans!

(((I was in Germany in 2003, it was common for motorist to shut off the engine at red lights. I think I was cussed out in German by an old woman in the car next to me for letting my enging run while waiting on a draw bridge! (I was driving an Audi diesel that got 55 mpg!))))

All German sounds like cursing to me. And I know, grandma was German speaking Swiss. Temper Temper. ;)

Peace,
