I'm checking out this battery jumper from Frye's Electronics:

WAGAN 500Amp Battery Jumper with Air Compressor

Wagan:
FRYS.com#:5734202

[*]Auto Jump-Starter 500 Cranking Amp Auto Jump-Starter
[*]260 PSI Air Compressor inflate 16" tire in only 5-10 minutes
[*]DC Power Source 18Amp hour with overload protection for
[*]12V applicances

Will it be safe to use to jump an 1985 GL1200? I've been using a battery tamer since my stator isn't keeping my battery charged enough to do on long drives and then start when I get ready to leave. Very frustrating. I know my battery is 12V but just don't want to blow up the thingtrying to jump it with this.

Thanks for the help.

Don't see where it would cause any problems.
