Last July I bought a 2006 1800 and noticed the previous owner had it wired for their electric vests. Recently I bought a Battery Tender Plus and noticed that the connection for the vest is the same as the Battery Tender Plus has. So, it looks like I can just plug the battery tender in or is there something I'm missing here or am I all set?

I would just verify the polarity is correct, and you should be all set.

I have seen a few situations where the male end of the plug coming from the power source was +...NOT GOOD. Trust nothing that a PO did especailly when it pertains to electricity.

I'm betting that connection was originally used with a battery tender device and the PO found that the electric vests would work that way too.
