Well my new fork seals will not be here till friday. SOOOO im thinking i might as well upgrade the stearing head bearings sense it pretty easy to do now and nip a future problim in the bud. Question is. Does anyone know the bearing numbers? so i can run down to the bearing supply house and get a set with out ordering them as i would have to do otherwise.

Thanks

Pat

I guess i was not very clear.I was looking for the taper roller bearing numbers. But when i took apart the steering stem i found it already had the taper style bearings in there:clapper:So Alls well that ends well.

I thought the stockGL1200 head bearings were tapered right out of the factory?

After the GL1000, all the Wings had tapered head bearings until they went back to balls on the 1800. :?
