Well, it's time for new brake pads for my 84I. There are several
choices of compositions out there, of course. It's been several
years and tens of thousands of miles since the last time I bought
and installed new pads on my bike. Don't remember what I bought
last time.
Thought I would get the opinion of the forum brain trust. :action:

I would stay away from metallic pads. They are pretty tough on rotors. I prefer organic/kevlar.

I`ll second that.

I've heard the EBC organic pads are good and are the ones I will probably go with next time. Not sure exactly where the best place to get them is though.

I ran some ceramics for a while. i liked them . I got them off ebay a few years ago and were made someplace in Europe. I think romania. Unfortunately I dont remember the brand name. Maybe SBS ??JB

Yeah, I was leaning toward EBC organics. Chaparral Motorsports has'em
for 19.99 a set plus shipping....Amazon for 20.99 a set plus shipping.

Thanks for all the input.
