I LOVE that feeling, when you do a TON to your bike, and take it apart to the "n'th" degree, put it all back together and it works perfectly...I know you know what i am talking about... that rush of adrenilin and pure satisfaction...
So here's mine.......... WHOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPPAAAAAAAAAAH:cool:

Second, I wanted to give a big thanks to Bob and BJ for posting the sites below for a Audio Aux mod for the 1500. It's your work that is the reason the INTERNET IS FREAKIN AWESOME. Thanks for your time and dedication to educate people like me. For those who don't know, here are the sites below that allow you to add Aux (ipod) input to your radio. It's easy, if you can solder, and work with patience.

Third, I only changed a couple things. If you are good with solder, I just clipped the two capacitor legs in half instead of taking the whole board out (worried about frail connections). I wanted connectability, so I ran the 3.5mm jack only about 4 inches outside the radio. There I can run another line to my front left pocket, so I can disconnect my radio at any time. I also didn't add a switch into my radio. I have a the brake resevoir switches... I just took the + 12v input to the relay, and ran it outside the radio, again only 5 inches for connectability. I connected it to my switch on my bars, which already has 12v, and also reduced the need for getting the 12v from inside the radio.

FIRST TRY...WHOOOPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPAHHHHHH

Thanks,
Robert

A job well done, and with recognition. Thanks Robert.
