My grandmother was from Italy. Growing up, every Thursday was spaghetti night........ Whith out fail. The meatballs, hot sausage and bread is what made the meal. As a kid, I don't remember ever going to my grandmother house which was a few block from our house and not getting freshly made, hot Italian bread.

Since moving to the south, there is no good Italian sausage or breads............ That's one thing that I do mis and bring a lot of it home when I go to NY.
