1999 1500 se.Have a problem with the neutral switch,when its in neutral it doesn't show a green light on the dash so the bike wont start it only does this once in a while but last time i had to get it trailered.If anyone could tell where the switch is located or if it's a hard task to replace it.Any help would be deeply appreciated,thanks in advance.dawnrun

Hi dawnrunand welcome. This sounds like a faulty neutral switch. Its located under the front engine cover. You need to remove the lower cowl, oil filter and all the bolts holding on the front cover to get at the switch.
