hi all,:waving:ive got the clutch sorted and have now noticed blebs on the tyre tread?while the bike was up on the ramp we noticed 1 bleb as we spun the wheel we found 4 blebs on the michilin tyre ,the tyre is a few years old as it was on when i purchased the bike last year, only thing we can think of is that the previous owner ran the tyre on low pressure as when i got the bike the first thing i did was up the pessure to 38psi and have checked it every monthe there after,im glad the bike was up on the ramp as i would not have known about it,the bike was only had an m.o.t. last month ,i do check my tyres but more so in future? new tyre from my local bike shop £55.00...i will be back on the road (not literally hopefully:goofygrin::grinner::goofygrin:) this week ...ROLL ON!!!bri uk.;)

If blebs are bubbles, then I'd get rid of that tyre fast before it bursts.

Yep, bulges or bubbles get rid of it.

I had a small bubble on a tyre burst on me while driving once and I can tell you the results were not fun at all.:hovering:

According to the medical terminology, a Bleb is a blister filled with liquid. If a tire blister is filled with liquid, you got problems...

I think it's a tire term analogous to the medical term but not exact. Usually the water is applied outside the tire by someone's damn dog. I know Shep would have better manners than that. Well maybe it's okay on HDs.
