blinker real dull on left side 89gl 1500

I got my gw back from shop the other day having carbs rebuilt. Now the left blinker curcit it real dull, i mean you can barley see them, the indicator @ the dash dosen't seem to work at all. i'm thinking a wire got pinched,or could it be a bulb blown? it all worked when i took it to the shop anyhow, i guess i have to do some tracing. what color wires am i looking for?

Did you make you sure your blinker fluid was full?

Does the left position light come on normally when the switch is in the center and all the tail lights work normally?

Yes, the position light works as it should, as well as all the other lights. Just the blinkers on left side in question. Kinda weird. Blinker fluid was just changed with full synthetic. :)

That just about indicates the switch or a bad connection. You are looking for an orange wire.

it's working now after simply taking faring pockets out and moving wires around. i'm assuming something was not connected good. we'll see how long it last till i have to locate where it was loose
