Can anyone tell me where to get new brake lines and How much they cost I want to go with stainless steel braided lines, and is it something one can do them selves.

PS Hope everyone has a safe holiday, and even better New Year.

www.paragonperformance.com can supply you with the correct braided lines. If you can change spark plugs you should have no problems installing the stainless lines on your Wing.

I installed a set of these a few years ago on my 84 Aspencade and I was amazed at how much firmer the brake feel is, not to mention, the peace of mind of not having to rely on 20 year old rubber brake hoses to get me and my Wing stopped safely.

Which bike do you have? If Paragon doesn't have your model listed, they will make them at half price and offer them on their site.

And yes, you'll wish you had of changed brake lines sooner, it makes quite a difference.

If you are also replacing the clutch line (And why wouldn't you?) when bleeding the new clutch line you may have trouble getting it bled properly. There is a section on Steve Saunders home page under Goldwing FAQ, real close to the bottom of the page gives a great solution to this common problem. Well worth a look see. Good Luck

1984 interstate, that I just picked up in July and want to get it ready for spring, it is in good shape but feel some changes might be good for safety.

Well if your interested I have a well used but completely intact one that I don't need anymore since I traded in my 85 Aspenyacht for a soon to be delivered 05 1800. The book covers from 84 to 87 Goldwings and there variations. And seeing as it is Christmas, and in appreciation for the job you do in our fair town. I would be willing tosell it to you for the priceof a coffee at a local Timmies here in Neufinmarket. Let me know if your interested.

Goldwinger, if he doesn't want it I'd sure appreciate it because I'mfrequently working on Wings and the info in a factory manual sure would help at times.

John, not trying to cut in on you, but, on the off chance you may not want it I figured I'd let goldwinger know that there is another home for it, even if I have to pay for it.

Either way, have a wonderful Christmas guys.
