I need to do the breaks on my 1980 GL1100 and I have to order the pads online. I was wondering if anyone knows the OEM part number for the front and rear pads. I want to make sure I'm ordering the correct parts. I would hate to have to wait for a return to be processed.

45105-438-007 or 45105-461-772 is the part number for the pads, but you may have a hard time finding OEM pads, otherwise EBC FA29 work just as well.

Just make sure you look for brake pads. Break pads are already broken.

Ha! Didn't even see that.:dumb:

Thanks for the info. The website I'm ordering from lists the OEM numbers along with their own part numbers. Thanks for the info!

Be careful of websites selling with their own numbers. Likely Chinese pads or even worse.

Please get OEM or EBC, but then again it is your bike, and you'll need to be the one that needs to stop. Brakes are not one of the areas to pinch pennies, they are too important.
