Since I'm rebuilding the brakes on my 76 GL1000, it makes no sense to put bad pads after good parts... so I'm looking to replace.

Locally I'm getting pricing at 25/per for the front and 29/per for the rear. Seems a little pricey to me... so I checked ebay... and the dreaded SaberCycle poped up at 35 bucks shipped.. but we know the stigma behind that.

Any recommendations for a good price on good pads?

Being in the area where did you get that price local? That price does not seem out of line for a good pad. I think JC Whitney is about that.

That price was from Sportland on Ireland Grove.

Try Twisted Powersports down on south Main Bloomington. They are pretty fair on stuff. I have bought tires from them. They sell and mount a tire for just a few dollars more than just to buy it online. They have a big rack of brake pads they may have them in stock. 827-3966
