Added to the fact the calipers and master seal need's work, my brake pedal also is sticking. I wasn't sure what the brake pedal should feel like with the caliber off. I unhooked everything except the big spring and it is stiff and sticking, Doe's not feel free nor want's to spring back. How do you check this ?

You just did check it. The pivot is dry and rusty. With everything disconnected, remove the pedal from the pivot and clean it well using steel wool or something similar. After both pivot and pedal are shiny clean, grease the pivot and reassemble. It will feel like a new machine.

Not John here but .... There should be a cotter pin and a flat washer on the end of the shaft the pedal pivots on . You might start with a squirt of PB Blaster on the pedal/pivot shaft . Let that soak a bit and begin to work the pedal up and down . It should loosen up and let you slide it off the shaft. Then proceed with the cleaning and lube . Some folks go as far as to install a zerk ( grease) fitting in the pedal while its off .

Mine was sticking last week. I need to take it off and grease it also. So theres a cotter pin and washer on the backside? I looked but couldn't see it. Shot the area with PB and helped alot. Need to remove it and clean it though.
