Got the brake pads changed, bled, everything worked great. figured i would make sure everything was tight. Thats when i broke the bolt off. Its one of 2 that connect the caliper sides together, screws into that sort of springy thing.

My question is, how do I replace this? is there a set screw or something that holds the nut in there?

OK now I get it. As I recall, #18 is held in by the head of #20. Can you pull it(#20) off or is part of the bold holding it in place? There may be a burr on the broken bolt. If #20 cannot come off, you may need an ez-out.

#20 bolt broke off all the way. its in 2 pieces. the threads are still in #18 and rest in on the work bench. so will the #18 part just come right out? that would easy.
