If you're talking about a broken wind wing that goes on the sides of the fairing then you'll probably have to buy another set. When J C Whitney goofed up on their webpage pricing for the 1100 wind wings I bought 2 sets in order to have spares for mine.

Made by Markland. I have a red set on my GL 1500, and no you can't have one of mine. Not sure where you can get them.

:waving:Hi ferguswingnut. Just my curiosity but are you sure your"Mistress" is a 1989 model or typo error in your signature block?:baffled: Really good looking bike tho. The GL 1500didn't have two tone paint until the 1990 SE model and there wasn't an Aspencade until 1991.

Nope, it was just considered a GL1500, but it had everything standard like the newer SEI's I think.

I wish my paint was as nice as yours, the PO of the bike I just got did not take very good care of it, but she's coming around!:)

I have a 1500 just the same as yours over here in the UK. Stamped with 1989 and registered in UK in 1991. Dont see many about in Wineberry but I love the colour.
Anyway..... I also had a pair of those wind wings and one broke and couldn't get a replacement for love nor money so I had to buy the the newer version.
Regards Chris

Forgot to say..... There is a company in UK called "Wingbitz". It is run by a guy called Ken. When I called him and explained what I wanted he supplied just the perspex and I drilled the holes to match the original brackets.... Saved me a fortune. His shop tel. No is (+44)1202 383093. He may be able to help you out.

Regards Chris

Your"Mistress" is the same as my 1989 GL 1500, color and all. Guess just light reflection that makes it look like two tone paint. Like Chrisnut says, you may just have to buya new set of Wind Wings and I love the Wineberry color too.
1988 and 1989-just a GL 1500-I don't think you will find an Aspencade plate on theGL 1500anywhere until 1991.
1990-Just a GL 1500 with GL 1500SE added.
1991-Added GL 1500 Interstate, along with GL 1500SE andGL 1500 now called Aspencade.
