That guy only outputs a max of 1.8V. Neat setup, though.

It wouldn't take the input voltage from the three phase bridge, either. Unloaded you could see upwards of 70 VDC there, moderately loaded (fully charged battery, just running the bike) input would still probably be 20-35 VDC under load I'd guess.

Shame that! I was looking for something that would take what my new Randakk upgraded alternator could dish out.

It has so much more pick-up surface than the original, I'm a little concerned that the OEM rectifier/regulator won't.

Should I be? Anyone know?

Edit: Okay I just seen pictures from another thread showing a 1200 stator, seems to have the same pick-up area as the Randakk.


Does the 1200 use a different rectifier/regulator than the 1100? Maybe I ought to use one of those, if it does!

This is a picture of an OEM 1100 stator, for comparison.
