When you say it rolled without hesitation, I'm assuming you mean you could tell that the engine was turning when you let out the clutch. Then yes, the engine is not stuck. Electrical problems related to cranking could be the main 30 amp fuse, located on the soliniod next to the battery. Thedogbone fuse could look good, but have a hairline crack, or the solinoid itself could be bad, bad battery, bad ignition switch, bad starter button. Or the starter itself is bad. Hopefully, this will give you some ideas where to start looking.
