going to look at a 1995 1500 aspencade tonight with 88,000 miles.. can you help me with some things to look for as far as problems.. he said the only thing that didn't work was the tape player and was scratched because his father laid it down in the driveway.. i have a 1200 aspencade now and have had the best of luck with but this one is a steal for the asking price

he said it was rode about 1500 miles last year..he also said that he let it run in the garage last summer for awile at idle and he said it over heated it didnt spit water out but he said it bubbled..i think he said about a hour .... i can tell the guy dont no to much about bikes...

Well went and looked at it.. seemed to be fine it was his fathers bike that passed away last year he did all the work on it.. the son doesn't no much about bikes the reason it over heated is because he let it tun with the choke on at around 2000 rpm for about a hour to charge the battery .. the foot brake felt. Like it went down to low might need to be worked on.. I guess im going to take a shot at it for $2900.00

Thanks everybody for your info and input.. so far the bike has done good haven't got to ride it much due to the weather.. Still having a problem with the foot brake pedal going down to far learned the hard way not to adjust it to far.. Locked the brakes up in the middle of a hill ..thinking about making a extender for it to bring it up some
