Seems like there may be a bad ground somewhere. Has anyone heard this before?

:waving:What position is the key in? I checked the radio on my '83 Interstate with the engine not runningand the key in the "accessory" position there is no buzz but with the key in the "ON" position there is somebuzz which is normal. If you have the buzz with the key in the accessory postion engine not running then there is a problem somewhere.

I think you will find most of the connections partially corroded. May need to clean.

:waving:Are you referring to Buford56? He hasn't stated what position the key is in when he hears the "buzz".

The buzz is in either position, acc or on. I am going to pull the radio unit and spray some contact cleaner into the plug.
