Hey Guys,

I had a gust of wind break one of the Cables that restrain the trunk from flopping too far open.

I used a steel fishing leader but the ends kept slipping.

Honda calls this a Stopper, Trunk Lid Item # 41 Part Number 81250-MN5-000

Does anybody have one of this in your "Box O Parts"?

The length is about 8.00" But my remaining one may be stretched.

There are two on the trunk.

Thanks

Mohawk

Ohh By the way the local Honda Stealer did not have them and stated that it would be weeks til he could get one.

Thanks Again..

I got a pair awhile back from Motogrid. You're timing's bad Mohawk I just gave away my spare to a guy here, the thing had been sitting in my trunk for a couple years. Of course that will cause one of my current ones to break now I don't have a spare.

Hey Thanks Guys,

I just bought a set of them from Tallyho.

I ordered them from the local dealer but it would be most of the summer waiting for them.

Also his price was $5.98 each but I believe he said the sheet metal mounting parts were already crimped on cables. I was surprised at that as they have different part numbers.

Hey, Have a GREAT Fathers Day.
