Can I replace a Thermo switch without removing radiator?

I think I can, it will be tight, butI think there is enough space.

How about draining the radiator, do I have to? The top radiator hose supplies the thermostat housing but the housing is below it, I'm guessing yes, I will have to drain it.

I put uppost earlier about a fan that is running more, I found a OEM switch at Bike bandit for $75 and will order that tomorrow.

If it was me I would go ahead and pull the radiator off , then you can buy the napa hose #7703 I think thats right,

Do a search for after market parts and you'll find lots of info.

Don't remove radiator, just drain coolant

Yes, you can remove the fan switch from the right side without removing the radiator. Drain some coolant, just to get below the level of the switch. I used a socket with a long extension, vaguely remember that 3/4 inch socket fit. You will have a new switch to check the size for sure.
